Volunteers

"Our eyes and ears"
Royal National Children’s Foundation relies upon its team of Volunteers (Area Representatives) who help us work effectively throughout the UK. There are two categories of Area Representatives.

Home Visitors:
The role of a Home visitor is to visit families after an application form has been sent to the office to validate the information given and write a report. This is then sent to the Selection Committee which enables trustees to make an informed decision whether support can be offered.

Schools Visitors:
School visitors raise understanding and awareness, and help strengthen the RNCF image with schools in their area. This involves visiting schools, meeting the Head Teacher, Governors, and Bursars - and encouraging the schools to work with the Charity in a number of ways.
